Teacher Nikki is a Montessori Certified Teacher with over 22 years of experience teaching students from the toddler level all the way up to university level. She was a Montessori student herself all the way from her toddler to high school years. Thus, Mrs. Samson-Caguioa has lived and breathed Montessori education for most of her life.
Teacher Nikki has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood & Special Education from Touro College – New York City, as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Management from De La Salle University – Manila. She holds a New York State Professional Certificate in both Early Childhood Education (birth – grade 2) and Students with Disabilities (birth – grade 2).
Teacher Nikki enjoys teaching her two young children and so in the summer of 2018, she created a summer camp program for children. The summer camp emphasizes practical life, sensory training, using manipulative materials, early literacy skills, art, and gross motor activities including Yoga and Tae Kwon Do at her own home. Her children along with the other little campers enjoyed the summer camp program which encouraged her to continue offering it every summer until today.
As a mother to two children, aged 9 and 6, Teacher Nikki has carefully incorporated her Montessori method of teaching in her home. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing Tae Kwon Do. She has a 4th Dan Kukkiwon Tae Kwon Do Black Belt and taught Tae Kwon Do to children for 20 years.
